We had the BEST BEST BEST weekend b/c Jon took a few days off work to spend with just us and we did lots of fun social things the whole time and the weekend just FLEW by!!! The kids went to their first parade (Anna Kate hadn't heard of a parade and thought we were going to a "grave," and kept asking who died and we were like, "Not grave, pa-rade"). 
Ty won the grand prize for BEST DRESSED PET!!! We walked him in the parade and the kids rode in the wagon (except Caroline in the carrier) and every one was dressed in red,white and blue except Ty, so it seemed very clever b/c hot dogs are a 4th of July tradition and he was a HOT DOG and a HUGE hit :)
