J.R.'s 1st Birthday is today!!!

Unfortunately he's sick today :( But we'd still like to share some memories from is short little life.

I just took this pic, he looks sick, huh? He's sleeping right now.

One year ago today...our 1st family pic right after he was born.

• he smiles at every one and any one...even people that usually don't see many smiles
• he loved nursing and loves his mommy
• he's endured tons of "crowding" from his sister
• he loves to giggle and play games like tickles and peek-a-boo
• he loves animals and lights up when he sees one and goes to pet it
• his first words were: "uh oh," "dog" and my parents say he said "Bubba" & "deer" when we were in Colorado (since he's been sick he says "uh oh" after he throws up)
• he gives pinchies a lot
• we call him "Babies" b/c that's what Anna Kate called him since he got here
• he's always liked balls as long I can remember
• he's generally pretty laid back but he is not into sleeping
• likes to be read to and to listen to music
• loves to be outside
• loves baths
• bounces his knees when he's dancing
• he has attached twinkle toes on his left foot
• he's a great eater
• he's meticulous about wanting his dirty diaper changed immediately and putting back things he takes out of containers
• he has a blue Cinderella cell phone for his lovey
